Sausage and Noodle Casserole

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a 2-quart baking dish.

  2. Cook and drain noodles according to package directions.

  3. Brown sausage with chopped onion and green bell pepper in a skillet, then drain excess drippings.

  4. Combine the cooked sausage mixture, cream of chicken soup, water, and drained noodles in a large bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with crumbled fried onions.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
