Instructions

  1. Prepare four ham and cheese sandwiches.

  2. Set up a breading station with flour, whisked eggs and water, and breadcrumbs.

  3. Heat oil in a medium frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.

  4. Dredge each sandwich in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.

  5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, then transfer to paper towels to drain.

  6. Serve hot.
