Salmon Melts Recipe

A kid-friendly salmon melt, offering a twist on the traditional tuna sandwich, is served on toasted English muffins.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your broiler or toaster oven broiler.

  2. In a bowl, combine salmon, celery, onions, dill pickle, relish or pickle juice, mustard, mayonnaise, and dill; season with salt, pepper, and hot sauce to taste.

  3. Toast the English muffin halves.

  4. Arrange toasted muffins on a baking sheet. Spread 1/4 cup salmon mixture on each muffin half, then top with a slice of cheese.

  5. Broil for approximately 4 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve hot.
