Rotisserie Tandoori Chicken

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill for indirect medium-high heat.

  2. Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Remove giblets and wing tips from chicken, then wash and pat dry the cavity.

  4. Coat chicken with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.

  5. Remove chicken from marinade, discard the used marinade, and place the chicken on a rotisserie spit.

  6. Cook over indirect medium-high heat for 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165-170 F (75 C), reducing to medium heat if necessary.

  7. Remove chicken from heat, tent loosely with foil, and let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
