Instructions

  1. Set up the rotisserie grill for medium-low indirect heat, placing a drip pan beneath where the ham will cook.

  2. Bring the ham to room temperature and pat it dry; then thread it onto the rotisserie spit and place it on the grill, closing the lid.

  3. Cook the ham for about 13 minutes per pound, or approximately 1 hour for a 5-pound boneless ham.

  4. While the ham cooks, combine the honey, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves to make the glaze.

  5. When the ham's internal temperature reaches 150 F (65 C), brush the glaze over all surfaces, then evenly sprinkle raw sugar on top.

  6. Close the grill lid and continue cooking until the sugar browns and its crystals are no longer visible.

  7. Turn off the heat, but leave the rotisserie running for 10 minutes to allow the sugar to set.

  8. Carefully remove the ham, let it rest loosely covered with foil for 10 minutes, then carve and serve.
