Instructions

  1. Collect only the black watermelon seeds and rinse them thoroughly in a colander.

  2. Spread the cleaned seeds on a cookie sheet and allow them to dry completely.

  3. Roast the dried seeds in a frying pan over medium-high heat, turning until toasted.

  4. Dissolve salt in water, then add the salted water to the pan with the seeds and cook, stirring occasionally, until the water evaporates.

  5. Let the roasted seeds cool completely before serving.
