Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Pat turkey legs dry and place them in a large roasting pan.

  3. Combine softened butter, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and thyme to create a compound butter; rub this mixture thoroughly over the turkey legs, including under the skin.

  4. Pour chicken broth into the pan around the turkey legs.

  5. Roast for 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 170 F is reached. Remove from oven, cover with foil, and let stand for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve whole or sliced off the bone.
