Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and lightly butter a 9-inch springform pan.

  2. Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in cocoa and espresso powders until smooth; let cool slightly.

  3. Whisk eggs, sugar, and flour until combined and foamy.

  4. Gently fold the egg mixture into the cooled chocolate batter, then pour into the prepared pan.

  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs.

  6. Cool the cake in the pan on a rack for 15 minutes before running a knife along the edges and loosening the pan sides.
