Rhubarb BBQ Sauce Recipe

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté chopped onion for 10-15 minutes until golden.

Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add rhubarb, ketchup, water, molasses, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Tabasco (optional), and black pepper; bring the mixture to a boil on high heat.

Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring frequently, for 10-15 minutes until the rhubarb is tender.

Puree the sauce in a blender or food processor until smooth, then season with salt to taste.
