Instructions

  1. Start boiling water as needed for gelatin preparations.

  2. Dissolve 1 package cherry gelatin and 1 package unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Pour into a 9x13-inch dish; refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.

  3. For the white layer, dissolve 1 packet unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, then stir in 1/2 can condensed milk. Cool in a measuring cup for 10 minutes.

  4. Carefully pour the cooled milk mixture over the firm red layer; refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.

  5. For the blue layer, dissolve 1 package blueberry gelatin and 1 package unflavored gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Cool in a measuring cup for 10 minutes.

  6. Pour the cooled blueberry gelatin over the firm white layer; refrigerate for 1 hour until firm.

  7. Repeat the white, red, white, and blue layer steps in sequence, ensuring each layer is firm after approximately 1 hour of refrigeration before adding the next. (Note: you will have extra condensed milk.)

  8. Once all seven layers (red, white, blue, white, red, white, blue) are firm, slice into bars or squares, carefully remove with a spatula, and serve.
