Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a 12-cup bundt pan by greasing and flouring it.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Whisk oil, melted butter, and sugar in a stand mixer.

  4. Stir in eggs, vanilla extract, vinegar, and food coloring.

  5. Alternately incorporate the dry ingredients and buttermilk into the liquid mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center is clean.

  7. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Once the cake is cool, prepare the cream cheese icing by mixing powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract; gradually add milk until drizzle consistency is reached.

  9. Drizzle the cream cheese icing over the cooled cake.
