Red Cabbage and Apple Salad

Instructions

  1. Whisk both vinegars and mustard together in a small bowl, then gradually incorporate honey and olive oil until blended.

  2. Wash, core, and thinly slice the apples, then combine them in a large bowl with lemon juice, shredded red and green cabbage, and dried cranberries.

  3. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad mixture and toss thoroughly, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Refrigerate the salad until serving; just before serving, add chopped toasted pecans or walnuts and toss again.
