Raspberry Snakebite Recipe

A refreshing raspberry snakebite combines dark porter, hard cider, and raspberry juice for a delightful beertail.

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, cover rinsed raspberries with water and bring to a boil. Mash the berries, then boil again, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and cool. Pour the raspberry liquid through a cheesecloth-lined fine mesh strainer placed over a bowl, then squeeze the pulp to extract the juice.

  3. Pour raspberry juice and lemon juice into a chilled pint glass, then slowly add the dark porter and hard cider.
