Quinoa Oatmeal Bread in a Bread Machine

Instructions

  1. Bring water and quinoa to a boil in a saucepan, then cook covered for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and let sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Add buttermilk, bread flour, whole wheat flour, oats, butter, sugar, honey, yeast, salt, and the cooked quinoa (or quinoa flakes) to the bread machine, following the manual's ingredient order.

  3. Program the machine for a whole grain loaf and allow it to complete its cycle and bake.

  4. Cool the baked bread for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
