Instructions

  1. Slice steak into 1/2-inch strips against the grain, and peppers and onion into 1/4-inch strips.

  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add steak, salt, and pepper; cook until juices mostly evaporate.

  3. Stir in sliced peppers and onion, cover, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Uncover and continue cooking until juices reduce, beef is fully cooked, and vegetables are tender.

  5. Serve immediately with tortillas and desired toppings such as guacamole, pico de gallo, lettuce, and tomatoes.
