Quick Sherry Trifle
A quick, traditional British dessert, this sherry trifle features layers of cake, strawberries, custard, and whipped cream.

Instructions

Arrange 10 ounces of cake slices in a trifle dish or individual glasses.

Slice 10 ounces of strawberries, reserving some for garnish, then layer them over the cake; lightly press berries and sprinkle with optional 6 tablespoons sherry.
