Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, spices, and salt; blend well.

  3. For the streusel topping, mix brown sugar and flour, cut in butter until crumbly, then stir in pecans; set aside.

  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pastry shell and bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Reduce oven temperature to 350 F and bake for an additional 25 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle streusel over the pie and continue baking at 350 F for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown and the filling is set.
