Pumpkin Cookies With Walnuts or Pecans Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

  2. Beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in pumpkin and vanilla extract.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and spices; add this dry mixture to the butter-sugar mixture and stir well.

  5. Stir in chopped nuts.

  6. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 1 inch apart onto greased baking sheets.

  7. Bake in the upper half of the oven for 12 to 14 minutes.

  8. Cool on a wire rack.
