Pretzel Toffee
A fast and easy sweet and salty confection, this pretzel toffee candy offers a delightful balance of flavors.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 F and line a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan with foil.

Arrange broken pretzels in a single layer on the pan, adding peanuts if desired.

In a deep saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar; cook over medium heat, stirring until butter melts.

Bring the mixture to a boil and continue boiling for 3 minutes without stirring.

Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, then pour evenly over the pretzels.

Bake for 5 to 6 minutes until bubbling, then remove from the oven.

Immediately sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups or more of chocolate chips.

Once softened, spread the chocolate to cover the candy, and optionally sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Allow the candy to cool completely, then break into pieces and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
