Pork Chops Baked in Mushroom Sauce Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F and grease a shallow baking dish.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Pat pork chops dry, season with salt and pepper, then sear 1-2 minutes per side in the hot oil. Transfer chops to the prepared baking dish.

  4. Add chopped onions and mushrooms to the skillet; cook, stirring, for 4-6 minutes until browned and tender.

  5. Stir in chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the pan.

  6. Combine Ranch dressing and mustard in a separate bowl. Stir this mixture into the skillet and boil for one minute.

  7. Pour the sauce over the pork chops in the baking dish.

  8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
