Pork Chops and Peppers

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add chops, onion, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes, frequently shaking the pan to prevent garlic from burning.

  3. Turn chops, add pepper strips, cover, and cook 5-8 minutes more, or until pork reaches 145 F.

  4. Remove chops and vegetables from skillet; keep warm.

  5. To the skillet drippings, add Worcestershire sauce, water or broth, thyme, and marjoram, scraping the bottom to loosen flavors.

  6. Cook until sauce thickens slightly. Return pork and vegetables to the skillet.

  7. Simmer for 1 minute to coat with sauce, then serve.
