Pork and Onion Meatballs With Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine pork, onions, breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then shape into 16 even meatballs.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan and fry the meatballs until evenly browned; remove and set aside.

  3. In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil, then cook onions for 7 minutes, and add garlic for another 3 minutes until translucent.

  4. Stir in canned tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, paprika, wine, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  5. Bring the sauce to a boil, reduce to a simmer, add the meatballs, and cook for 20 minutes.

  6. Serve with grated parmesan cheese if desired.
