Popped Wild Rice Recipe
A crunchy, popped wild rice snack offers a unique texture, similar to a less puffy popcorn.

Instructions

Heat a medium saucepan with a lid over high heat.

Once hot, add vegetable oil and swirl to coat the pan.

Add wild rice and shake to coat with oil.

Cover, reduce heat to medium-high, and shake for about 3 minutes until popping begins.

Reduce heat to medium-low and continue shaking until popping slows.

After about 7 minutes total, when popping stops, remove from heat. Sprinkle with fine sea salt and serve hot.
