Polish Hamburgers (Mielone Kotlety)

Mielone kotlety are hearty Polish patties made from a blend of pork and beef, perfect served as a Salisbury steak or on a bun.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, soak bread in milk until soft.

  2. Add beef, pork, onion, egg, salt, and pepper to the soaked bread, mixing thoroughly; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs if the mixture is too soft.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 portions and form into patties.

  4. Lightly coat a skillet with cooking spray and slowly fry the patties until cooked through.

  5. Serve.
