Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, basil, and salt; stir until blended.

  3. Spread this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

  4. Pour pizza sauce over the cheese layer and spread to cover.

  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle chopped pepperoni.

  6. Cut biscuits into quarters, roll each into a ball, and arrange them over the sauce and cheese.

  7. In a small bowl, microwave butter with garlic and parsley for 30 seconds. Stir in the remaining Parmesan cheese.

  8. Brush 3/4 of the butter mixture over the biscuit rolls. Bake uncovered on the lower oven rack for 10 minutes, until golden brown.

  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and continue baking for 40 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted and the rolls are baked through.

  10. Let sit for 5 minutes, then brush with the remaining garlic butter and serve.
