Pistachio Cake With Cardamom Glaze Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a bundt or tube pan.

  2. Beat eggs and sugar until light, then beat in butter, vanilla, yogurt, and optional food coloring.

  3. Process pistachios until ground.

  4. Sift together flour, ground pistachios, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Beat dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then pour batter into the prepared pan.

  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, cardamom, and salt for the glaze.

  8. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake, adding chopped pistachios if desired.
