Pistachio Butter

Instructions

  1. Shell pistachios, if necessary.

  2. Place shelled pistachios and salt into a food processor and begin processing.

  3. Continue processing; the nuts will transition from a fine powder to a thick, buttery consistency as their fats release.

  4. Optionally, drizzle in a small amount of neutral oil during processing for a thinner butter.

  5. Once desired consistency is reached, spoon the pistachio butter into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
