Pineapple Rum Flambé Recipe

Instructions

  1. Coat pineapple rings evenly with brown sugar.

  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat; cook pineapple slices for 3 to 4 minutes per side until browned.

  3. Away from the heat source, add warmed rum to the skillet and carefully ignite it. Return to heat and allow the alcohol to burn off.

  4. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
