Pilaf Rice Recipe

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Heat an ovenproof saucepan with butter over medium heat until foamy.

In a separate pan, bring stock to a boil and season.

Sauté diced onion and celery in the butter until translucent, 2 to 3 minutes.

Add uncooked rice; sauté, stirring, for one minute until coated.

Pour in hot stock, bring to a boil, cover, and place the pot in the oven.

Bake for 18 minutes until liquid is absorbed; extend cooking by 2 to 4 minutes if necessary.

Remove from oven, fluff rice, then cover with a paper towel and lid for 10 minutes.
