Pico de Gallo

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water.

  2. Pour boiling water over chopped onion and garlic in a strainer, then drain and cool completely.

  3. Combine the cooled onion and garlic with chopped tomatoes, chile peppers, cilantro, lime juice, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld before serving.
