Instructions

  1. Heat 2 to 3 inches of oil in a skillet to 350 F.

  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook onions for 3 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add green pepper and cook for 3 more minutes until tender; transfer vegetables to a plate.

  4. In the same skillet, cook sliced ribeye with garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 4 minutes until no longer pink.

  5. Return the cooked vegetables to the pan with the steak, add steak sauce, and stir to coat; simmer on low heat for 3 minutes before removing.

  6. Place one provolone slice and 2 tablespoons of the steak mixture onto each egg roll wrapper, then fold and seal the edges with water.

  7. Fry 3 to 4 egg rolls at a time in the preheated oil for 4 minutes, turning until golden brown.

  8. Drain fried egg rolls on paper towels and serve with a dipping sauce.
