Instructions

  3. Rub the 3-pound top sirloin beef roast with olive oil, then apply the seasoning mixture evenly on all sides.

  4. Roast the beef for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 225 F and continue roasting for approximately 3 hours or until desired doneness.

  5. For medium-rare, the roast should register 130 F to 135 F using a meat thermometer.
