Instructions

  1. Fill a microwave-safe cup with 1/2 cup cold water.

  2. Crack one large egg into the cup.

  3. Cover the cup with a saucer.

  4. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then check the egg white; continue in 10-second increments until cooked.

  5. Wait a few seconds before carefully removing the saucer to allow steam to escape.

  6. Repeat with another egg and serve seasoned with salt and pepper.
