Perfectly Poached Eggs in the Microwave
A simple method yields perfect poached eggs in under two minutes using only a microwave.

Instructions

Fill a microwave-safe cup with 1/2 cup cold water.

Crack one large egg into the cup.

Cover the cup with a saucer.

Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then check the egg white; continue in 10-second increments until cooked.

Wait a few seconds before carefully removing the saucer to allow steam to escape.
