Perfect Spinach Lasagna
A classic vegetarian spinach lasagna recipe features layers of marinara, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.

In a medium bowl, combine the beaten egg, ricotta cheese, half of the drained spinach, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, mix the remaining spinach with the marinara sauce.

Spread 1 cup of the marinara-spinach mixture over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Add a layer of noodles, followed by 1 cup of the marinara-spinach mixture, a third of the ricotta mixture dolloped evenly, and a quarter of the mozzarella cheese.

Repeat the noodle, sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella layers two more times.

Top with a final layer of noodles, the remaining sauce, shredded mozzarella, and the rest of the grated Parmesan cheese.

Grease a sheet of foil and cover the lasagna tightly, greased side down.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 to 30 minutes, until the cheese is browned.
