Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and butter a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  2. Combine sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter; set aside.

  3. Mix brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, soda, salt, and 3/4 cup butter in a large bowl.

  4. Press 1/2 to 2/3 of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  5. Drizzle the peanut butter mixture over the base, then sprinkle with chocolate chips and the remaining oat crumbs.

  6. Bake for 18 to 21 minutes until edges are browned and the top is lightly browned; cut into bars.
