Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick coating. Wash and dry apples, remove their stems, then insert skewers.

  2. Melt unwrapped caramels with water in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth and fluid, stirring frequently.

  3. Dip each apple into the melted caramel, ensuring full coverage, remove excess, and place on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Melt chocolate coating in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 45 seconds.

  5. Dip each set caramel apple into the melted chocolate, then immediately press chopped peanut butter candy pieces and sprinkle chopped peanuts onto the wet chocolate. Place back on the baking sheet.

  6. Melt peanut butter chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds.

  7. Transfer the melted peanut butter to a plastic bag, snip a corner, and drizzle decoratively over each apple. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set.

  8. For later serving, wrap apples individually in plastic and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
