Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or baking liners.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Add peanut butter and butter, then blend with a mixer on medium speed until crumbly for about 3 minutes.

  4. Incorporate honey and milk, mixing until the thick dough is thoroughly combined.

  5. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, press an indentation into the center of each, and space them 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.

  6. Fill each cookie indentation with preserves, jelly, or jam.

  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly browned.

  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes, then transfer them to racks to cool completely.

  9. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container.
