Peach Sorbet Recipe

A simple and refreshing peach sorbet makes for an ideal summer treat when peaches are in season.

Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice peaches, then freeze them flat in a bag for 3-4 hours until solid.

  2. Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice with lemonade (or water); stir until sugar dissolves.

  3. Transfer the lemonade mixture and frozen peach pieces (broken up if in a block) to a blender and blend on high until smooth.

  4. Serve immediately as soft-serve or freeze in a covered loaf pan for at least 5 hours until completely firm.

  5. Scoop and serve when ready.
