Pasta With Garlic and Cheese

A quick and easy garlic and cheese pasta dish, prepared with only four ingredients in under 10 minutes.

Instructions

  1. Start boiling a large pot of salted water.

  2. Add 16 ounces spaghetti to the boiling water and cook per package directions until al dente.

  3. Heat 5 tablespoons olive oil in a small saucepan, then sauté 3 minced garlic cloves for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. In a serving bowl, combine the garlic oil mixture with 1/2 cup chopped parsley, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.

  5. Drain the cooked pasta, retaining a little cooking water. Immediately toss the pasta with the garlic-parsley mixture. Stir in 3/4 cup grated Romano or Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately, adding more cheese if desired.
