Pasta With Broccoli, Parmesan Cheese, and Ham

Instructions

  1. Start boiling salted water for pasta and about an inch of water in a separate pan for steaming broccoli.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

  3. Steam broccoli for 4 minutes or until tender.

  4. In a skillet, melt butter, brown ham, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  5. Stir in basil, cream, and Parmesan cheese; simmer for 1 minute.

  6. Combine the sauce, drained pasta, and steamed broccoli; season with salt and pepper, then toss to heat through.

  7. Serve immediately, optionally with extra Parmesan.
