Pan-Seared Saganaki

Instructions

  1. Cut cheese into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  2. Moisten each slice with cold water, then dredge in flour, shaking off any excess.

  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed frying pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Sear each cheese slice in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides.

  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges and optional fresh parsley.
