Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. Place two oysters into each shell half and arrange all shells on rock salt in baking pan(s).

  3. Cook bacon until crisp, then drain and crumble.

  4. In the same skillet with bacon drippings, cook green onion, bell pepper, and celery until tender, then stir in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.

  5. Spoon the vegetable mixture over the oysters in the shells and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
