Oven Fried Haddock Fillets

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F (220 C / Gas 7).

  2. Line a baking dish with olive-oiled foil.

  3. Cut haddock into serving pieces; season with salt and pepper.

  4. Prepare three wide bowls: one with flour, one with whisked egg and milk, and one with breadcrumbs.

  5. Dredge each fillet in flour, then the egg-milk mixture, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs; arrange on the prepared baking dish.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and continue baking for another 8 to 10 minutes until the fish flakes easily.

  7. Serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce or rémoulade sauce.
