Oven-Fried Chicken With Sour Cream

Tender and juicy oven-fried chicken breasts are created using a sour cream or Greek yogurt and garlic marinade, finished with a crispy breading.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with greased foil.

  2. Combine sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic, seasoned salt, and pepper in a nonreactive bowl. Add chicken breasts, coat, cover, and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or up to overnight.

  3. Place breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Remove the marinated chicken and thoroughly coat each breast with breadcrumbs.

  4. Arrange the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F (74 C) and the juices run clear. Adjust baking time for very large or thin chicken pieces.
