Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick foil.

  2. Whisk together flour, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, sage, salt, and pepper.

  3. Season chicken breasts evenly with the spice mixture.

  4. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Sear chicken breasts in batches until golden on both sides.

  6. Transfer chicken to the prepared baking pan.

  7. Add orange juice mixture, amaretto liqueur, and Dijon mustard to the skillet drippings.

  8. Stir, scraping up browned bits, and boil the sauce until reduced by half and thickened (about 5 minutes).

  9. Pour the orange amaretto sauce over the chicken breasts.

  10. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

  11. Let chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.

  12. Serve chicken with pan sauce and garnish with parsley.
