Onion Pot Roast in Foil
A tender pot roast is easily prepared in foil using just two ingredients: a beef roast and dry onion soup mix, creating a savory dish that can include vegetables.

Preheat oven to 300 F.

Place meat on an 18x12-inch sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.

Sprinkle dry soup mix over the meat, then tightly wrap in foil with double folds.

Place wrapped meat in a roasting pan and roast for 3 hours or until very tender.

Unwrap meat, transfer to a serving platter, and pour juices over it; alternatively, create a pan sauce with the juices.
