Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil and sauté chicken until golden.

  2. Add onion, mushrooms, and green pepper; cook until softened.

  3. Stir in steamed rice with salt and pepper, then cook briefly.

  4. Remove from heat, mix in ketchup, and set the seasoned rice aside.

  5. For each omurice, heat 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in the skillet.

  6. Pour two beaten eggs into the skillet to form a round omelet.

  7. Place a quarter of the seasoned rice in the center of the omelet, then fold the sides over the rice.

  8. Cover the pan with a plate and invert the omurice onto it; repeat to make four, then top with ketchup before serving.
