Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a shallow 2-quart baking dish.

Combine biscuits and 1 cup milk in a large bowl; let stand 5-10 minutes until softened.

Stir in sugar and the first egg; then blend in the remaining eggs one at a time.

Mix in melted butter, vanilla, and the rest of the milk until well blended.
