No-Churn Ice Cream Recipe

Instructions

  1. Place a 9x5-inch loaf pan in the freezer.

  2. Combine condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a medium bowl; stir until blended.

  3. In a large bowl, beat chilled heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.

  4. Stir 1 cup of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture.

  5. Fold the condensed milk mixture into the remaining whipped cream until uniform.

  6. Pour the ice cream mixture into the chilled loaf pan, spread evenly, and return to the freezer.

  7. After 1 3/4 to 2 hours, mix in any additional ingredients, then return to the freezer. Freeze for at least 3 hours until very firm.

  8. Before serving, let the ice cream stand for 10 minutes to soften.
