No-Bake Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
A quick and flavorful macaroni and cheese uses a blend of two cheeses, perfect for a fast family meal.

Instructions

Start boiling water and cook macaroni according to package directions, then drain and set aside.

Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat, then whisk in flour and cook for a few minutes until absorbed.

Warm milk for 1 minute in the microwave, then gradually add it to the saucepan, whisking constantly to prevent lumps, and season with salt and pepper.

Cook the sauce over medium heat until it thickens.

Stir in all but 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese until melted.

Remove from heat and fold the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce.

Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
